Exempt Players
The 156 amateurs who will comprise the full field of hopefuls for the 2007 U.S. Women’s Amateur title will include 64 players who will have received automatic exemptions from qualifying due to their previous excellent play in this and other competitions. This group of players will consist of many past champions of a myriad of events and those who have other achievements, from the ranks of junior golfers to those playing for national and international titles.
